William “Bill” Henry Vance, age 91, of Florence, passed away July 20, 2018. Visitation will be today, July 22, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral will be Monday, July 23, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Moody Chapel Cemetery, Altoona, Alabama.
Mr. Vance was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated the Corner Drug Store for 30 years and was a Master Mason with Masonic Lodge #338. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Florence.
Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Dot Vance; son, Ronald Max Vance and wife, Jennifer; grandson, Stephan Vance and wife, Lynnsee; and great-grandson, Sawyer.
