William Allen Hurd, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.Mr. Hurd is survived by his daughter; Susan Elaine Hurd.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy Elaine Hobbs Hurd, father; George “Sam” William Hurd,
mother; Agnes Lucile Wilburn Hurd.
Mr. Hurd is a Veteran who served his country with the United States Army. He worked for many years on and off Redstone Arsenal as an electrical engineer specializing in lasers and optics.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 21st, 2022 at 2:00 PM, at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore Alabama.
Those serving as pallbearers are Mark Howell, Ryan Howell, Jake Howell, Max Howell, Dyllon Howell, Cameron Abernathy, Connor Abernathy, and Skyler Atkinson.
Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Howell and Scott Abernathy.
