William Abraham Profile Photo  William Abraham, age 74, passed away on June 10, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Born on March 6, 1952, in Mississippi, William was the son of the late Albert and Maxine Abraham. He lived life on his own terms and was known for his independent spirit, quirky personality, and unwavering sense of organization. If something needed to be remembered, William likely had it written down somewhere. His family and friends knew they could always count on him to have a list, a note, or a plan close at hand.

William had a deep love for music that spanned generations. While many of his peers enjoyed the classics, he proudly embraced modern artists such as Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, often saying their music helped keep him young. At the same time, he never lost his appreciation for legends like Neil Young and Pink Floyd. Music was more than entertainment to William—it was one of life’s greatest joys.

In his spare time, he enjoyed guitar pickin’, spending time with friends, and relaxing with a cold beer at local favorites, The Rebel and Wasteside. Whether sharing stories, discussing music, or simply enjoying good company, William had a way of making every gathering memorable.

He was a dedicated employee of General Motos for over 30 years.

He is survived by his beloved son, Nathan Abraham; his special friend, Chantelle O’Connor; sisters: Linda and Mary; several grandchildren; and many friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by Albert and Maxine Abraham.

William’s unique outlook on life, his love of music, and his independent nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences can be given to the family at williams.com.
