Willer Jean Brosseit – Obituary

Willer Jean Brosseit, age 82 of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Funeral services will be Monday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ford City Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Westfall officiating. She will lie-in-state at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Jean was a native of Colbert County, Alabama and a member of Grace Crossroad Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was fun loving and full of adventure. Jean loved to travel, fish, attend car races and was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ovie Dee and Luella Matlock; sisters, Pauline Gargis, Lorene Smith, Claire Garrison and Bernice Childs; brothers, Charles Matlock and Steve Matlock; 3 infant siblings; and son, Anthony Bostick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Charles Brosseit of Ford City; sons, Billy Bostick of Hinesville, GA, Bobby Bostick of Ford City and Jimmy Ray Roberts of Minnesota; daughters, Kathy Wheelihan of Lantana, FL and Sherion Hadley of Greenacres, FL; sisters, Betty Matlock Prince of Ford City and Marlene Matlock Potts of Spring Valley; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Bostick, Chasity Bostick, Richard Wheelihan, Tyler Isbell, Bobby Bostick and Oscar Garcia.
