Willard W. Henley, 78, of Town Creek passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.

An avid Hazlewood football supporter, Willard served as the football statistician for Hazlewood for over 35 years.

Survivors include his children, Heather Williams (Everett), Thisa Smith (Shawn), Brian Jeffreys (Tonya), and Donnie Eskridge (Paula); grandchildren, B. J., Blair (Josh), Kota, Miss Kitty, Z-Man, Bell, DayDay, Little Man, Little P, and Harlie (Cody); great-grandchildren, Jaydenn and Jaycee; brothers, Billy Joe (Glenda), Lonnie (Amy), Danny (Alesa), and Harold (Pat); sisters, Carol Mardis (Timmy) and Martha Everly (Steve).

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mattie Henley.

Pallbearers will be Cruz Adame, Dakota Eskridge, Bryson Jeffreys, Richard Terry, James Pierce, Josh Southern, Justin Henley, Kevin Henley, Jason Henley, and Chip Henley.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Courtney Bowen, the staff of Helen Keller Hospital, Shoals Home Health and Shoals Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Steady Boxing – Florence, The Basement Gym, 115 N. Court Street, Florence, AL 35630.
