Willard (Hill) Ellenburg
October 3, 1944 ~ July 18, 2026 (age 81)
Willard departed this life peacefully at her residence surrounded by the people whom she loved most on July 18, 2026, at the age of 81.
Willard was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved family member, and treasured friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She dedicated her life to caring for her family, offering wisdom, comfort, and encouragement through every season of life. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love, where everyone was always welcome.
As a mother, she led by example with grace, patience, and compassion. She taught her children the importance of faith, integrity, hard work, and treating others with kindness. As a grandmother, she found immeasurable joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating treasured memories through family gatherings, shared stories, and countless expressions of love. Her greatest pride was watching her family grow and flourish.
She will be remembered for her loud personality, generous heart, infectious smile, and the countless lives she touched through simple acts of kindness. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Melissa Kelley (Calvin), Sandra Langley (Brandon), Phillip Langley (Amy), and Barbara Walker (Anthony); her eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Langley; parents, Gaines Hill and Dessie Terry Hill; six brothers; and five sisters.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor a life so beautifully lived. Rev. Jack Hill and Rev. Scottie Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the lasting impact of her love and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
Pallbearers will be Willie Hill, Jacob Young, Joseph Bailey, Greg Terry, Junior Hotalen, and Paul Jr. Terrell.
