Funeral for Willard Heaps, 69, of Russellville will be Saturday, September 27, 2014, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Wade Wallace of Calvary Baptist officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Mr. Heaps, who died Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital, was born April 10, 1945, in Lawrence County to Jessie Heaps and Nancy Magdalene McKay Heaps. He retired as a tire sales manager. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathy Heaps; one son, Paul Heaps; and siblings, Robert Heaps, Alva Heaps, Oleane Shelton and Mary Elizabeth Matheny.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Heaps and Chris Heaps; four grandchildren, Katie Heaps, Drew Heaps, Brayden Heaps and Casen Heaps; two stepgrandchildren, Ashley Pettey and Braxton Pettey; and one sister, Faye Shultz.
