Willard Franklin Bryan, 96 of Baileyton passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at his residence. Willard was born May 30, 1925, the son of Tollie Columbus Bryan and Evie Lena Pitts Bryan. He served his country with honor and courage in the US Army during WWII receiving the purple heart along with many other decorations and citations. He was married to Nancy Corbin Bryan, she preceded him in death June 18, 2010. He was also preceded in death by Son: Charlie Bryan and Daughter: Rose Miller, along with two infant children.
He is survived by his Children: Randy Bryan (Cyndi), Michelle Bryan (Michael), Viola Powell (Harry) and Judy Schoettlin; Grandchildren: Jacqueline Mills (Cory), Brian Powell, Leslie Kemp (James), Wayne Miller (Felicia), Anthony Schoettlin, Mark Schoettlin, Chris Barton and Ashley Hopkins; Host of Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Rice Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Michael Acquaviva, Cory Mills, James Lee, Mark Schoettlin, Anthony Schoettlin and Brian Powell.
