Mrs. Willa Mae Holley Greene, age 95, was born on May 13, 1924, and died on Thursday, December 26, 2019. She was the daughter to the late Louis and Velna Whitworth Holley. She has gone to be with her sisters Deloris Holland, Martha Womack Delaney, and Elwyona Lanier, whom she has dearly missed. Also passing away before her were her two brothers, Carl Holley and Jerry Holley, two son-in-laws, Captain John Dunnavant and David Wells Sr., and her beloved husband, Charles (Dude) Greene. Mrs. Greene had 50 years with her husband and very few days after WWII did she spend away from him.

She is also survived by her children, Sandra Kay Wells and friend Jerry, Charles and Cassie Greene, Beverly and John Murrey, and Kathy Young and husband Roy, her grandchildren, David Wells, Rhonda Wells, Stacy Young and Brad Young, Rachel Dunnavant Weatherly, Lyndsey Dunnavant Howell, and Sara Katherine Murrey Pierce, Charlesa Hughes, Carlee Ammons, and Lillie Greene, and many of her great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
