Wilhemina Louise Cannon, 76, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at her residence. Visitation will be noon Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. following the visitation. Brother Nicky Pressnell will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Cannon was born in Morgan County on July 7, 1940 to William I. Johnson and Mary Louise Russell Johnson. She was a member of Austinville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy S. Cannon and son, William Charles Cannon.
She is survived by one son, Randy Cannon of Decatur; daughter, Sherri (Perry) Harding; grandchildren, William Shane Cannon of Montgomery, Zachary Harding of Decatur, Amber Louise Harding of Decatur, Heather Mendez of Madison, Ashley Cannon of Texas, Michael, Tyler and Rebecca Cannon, all of Michigan; great-granddaughters, Kylie Cannon of Hartselle and Isabella and Eleanor, both of Madison; and sisters, Joyce Saylor, Clara (Vince) Provenza and Shirley (Fred) Champion, all of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Vince Provenza, Jake Holland, Marty Peebles, Jesse Turner, Andrew Ogles, Laine Champion and Tim Turner.
