Wilder LaFay Ingram Blue – Obituary

wilderWilder LaFay Ingram Blue passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at the age of 56.

Fay, as friends and family knew her, was born to Ora D. and Richard L. Ingram on April 4, 1960. She attended Bradshaw High School where she was on the flag team and graduated in 1978. After attending the University of North Alabama, Fay stayed in the Florence area where she did some modeling. She was working for Manpower Group as an HR recruiter when she fell ill this summer.

Fay was a loving mother to Gonzales and also fostered eight children over the last 15 years through the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

Fay is survived by her son, Gonzales; her brother, Rodney Ingram (Lisa); two uncles, Delmas Armstead and David Armstead (Yasuko); her aunt, Fannie A. Smith (William); and nephews and cousins. Her mother, Ora D. Ingram Meredith, and her father, R.L. Ingram, preceded her in death.

Colbert Memorial Chapel and Crematory cremated the body. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
