Funeral service for Wilda Harris Johnson, 79, will be Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim McCormick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. Johnson died on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1938, in Lawrence County to Seal Grant Harris and Annie Violene Segars Harris . She was employed by Hartselle Medical Center as a switchboard operator prior to her retirement. She enjoyed being around her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked participating in family activities and loved cooking and knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Doris Jean Harris Holder and (twin sister) Wanda Lee Harris Bennich.
