Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the family of Wilburn Duane “Doodley” Steele. Duane Steele age 57, of Belvidere passed from this life on Monday December 17, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. He will always be remembered for being the caring brother and uncle, that he was and one who loved the outdoors, motorcycles, cars, and riding a 4 wheeler. He had a special gift when it came to remodeling and building and his love for this trade reflected in his projects. He is survived by his sisters, Josephine (Elvis) Evans of Scottsboro Ala, Regina (Ricky) Taylor of Belvidere; brothers, Alvin (Brenda) Steele, Rayburn (Joyce) Steele and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William “Pete” and Katherine Miller Steele; sisters, Lila McGee, Sarah Donna Sanders; brother, Ambrouse “Moody” Steele. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 4-8. The funeral service will be on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 11:00. Interment will follow in the Keith Springs Cemetery with family and friends servicing as pallbearers. Brother Ricky Taylor and Brother CT Wilkerson will be officiating.
