FLORENCE-On Saturday, October 31, Halloween Day, the Florence/Lauderdale Animal Shelter will host a party. They are going to put the dogs in costumes and take the pups photos. Hours are from 9 am until 12 pm.
We encourage everyone to come meet the dogs, take photos, and walk the dogs while they are dressed in their Halloween Finery. We are trying to get attention focused on the shelter dogs in a way that might cause their photos to be shared more, which would result in more of the pets gettting theirr “Forever” home.
The Florence/Lauderdale Animal Shelter is located in Florence at 702 East College Street. Volunteers welcome!
On another note we have a very sweet girl up for adoption:
Kamilla is an all-around good girl, good with cats, dogs, and kids. She was used as a breeding machine but is a very calm and sweet girl! She is about 45lbs and thinks she is a lap dog! We are all in love with her. She is about 3 yrs old.
