TUSCUMBIA-The Holidays are going to rock in Colbert County this year.  Nearly  every day in December there will be fun events to help get you in the holiday sprit…and keep you there!

November 29 – December 1, 2024 – RBD 2024 at Hawk Pride Offroad – Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad, 3874 Hawk Pride Mountain Road, Tuscumbia. The 18th annual RBD event returns with open trail riding, a scavenger hunt, and plenty of fun! December 3, 2024 – Tuscumbia Christmas Parade – Downtown Tuscumbia. The parade begins at 6 PM at Deshler High School and proceeds down Main Street. After the parade, the train at Spring Park will be open from 6–8 PM. For more information, call 256-386-7200.

December 3, 2024 – Sheffield Christmas Parade – North Montgomery Avenue, Sheffield. The parade begins at 6 PM, starting at 10th Street and ending at 2nd Street. Rain date: December 14. For more information, contact Cindy Evans at 256-394-1556.

December 3 – December 23, 2024 – TVAA’s Winter Art Market – Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, 511 N. Water Street, Tuscumbia. The Winter Art Market features unique, high-quality, handmade items across various media, including painting, photography, ceramics, fibers, wood, glass, jewelry, printmaking, and more. December 5-8, 2024 – Million Dollar Quartet – Cypress Moon Studios, 1000 Alabama Ave., Sheffield. December 8, 2024 – Angel Band Christmas Cantata, Sheffield Methodist Church, 701 N. Montgomery Avenue, Sheffield. The Sheffield Methodist Church Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will present a new Christmas Cantata, “Angel Band”, Sunday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary, 701 N. Montgomery Avenue. The musical, written by Timothy Michael Powell and Tim Sharp, is directed by the church’s Choral Director, Drew Mills. “Angel Band” tells the Christmas story through 10 rarely heard songs and original compositions. Doors open to the public at 4:00 p.m. The program begins at 4:30 and is free of charge.
