Now-April 30, 2026 – Artistic Renderings Exhibit, Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, 511
N. Water St., Tuscumbia. The Tennessee Valley Museum of Art is currently hosting “Artistic
Renderings,” an exhibition featuring a diverse collection of artwork created by local
students. The exhibit showcases the creative talents of young artists from kindergarten
through 6th grade, as well as work from local high school and collegiate students. This
community-focused showcase is on display now through April 30, 2026. For more

April 2, 2026 – Adult Craft Night, Muscle Shoals Public Library, 1918 Avalon Ave., Muscle
Shoals. Join us for Adult Craft Night at the Muscle Shoals Public Library on Thursday, April
2nd at 5:30 PM for a fun and relaxing evening of creativity. Jamie Self of Sunflower Studio will guide participants step-by-step in painting a beautiful spring canvas. April 3-4, 2026 – Faith, The Ritz Theatre, 111 W. 3rd St., Sheffield. The Ritz Theatre will
host the debut of Faith, an original opera by Shoals native Jeremy Smith, in collaboration
with the Tennessee Valley Art Association. Set in a remote Appalachian church, this
haunting Southern Gothic tale explores themes of devotion, obsession, and ruin through a
unique musical blend of operatic drama, Southern gospel, and Appalachian folk traditions.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, 2026, both at 7:00

April 4, 2026 – Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Seven Springs Lodge, 1292 Mount Mills Rd.,
Tuscumbia. Get ready for a unique twist on a holiday tradition at the Seven Springs Lodge
Adult Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2026! This 21-and-over event starts at 8:00 AM

April 4, 2026 – Sustainable Trails Work Day, TVA Muscle Shoals Trails Complex, 73
Thunder Road, Muscle Shoals. The Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area (MSNHA) will host
a Sustainable Trails Work Day on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the
TVA Muscle Shoals Trails Complex. This event focuses on maintaining the historic trails built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and begins with a safety demonstration and hands- on training at the picnic pavilion. The event is open to volunteers ages 18 and older who are capable of physical labor; while lunch is provided, participants are encouraged to bring

April 4, 2026 – Rock the Trace, Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson, 595 Hwy 72 West,
Tuscumbia. Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson will continue its All-American Concert Series

April 4, 2026 – Boston Butt Fundraiser, Colbert County Courthouse, 201 N. Main St.,
Tuscumbia. The Sanctuary @ Allsboro has updated the pickup date for its Boston Butt
fundraiser to Saturday, April 4, 2026. This event supports the organization’s mission to
reduce veteran suicide and homelessness by providing a safe space for fellowship and
support. The Boston Butts are available for a $45 donation, and proceeds directly benefit

Downtown Tuscumbia/ Downtown Sheffield. Each Saturday in April, free guided walking
tours of historic districts take place in Sheffield and Tuscumbia. Led by knowledgeable
guides, the historic tours travel past structures that date before the Civil War. Tuscumbia
boasts one of the state’s best collections of antebellum structures, and Sheffield offers
Victorian and Craftsman-style homes and structures. Admission is free.

April 4, 11, 12, 18, & 26, 2026 – Trail Care: Cane Creek Canyon, Cane Creek Canyon
Nature Preserve, 251 Loop Rd., Tuscumbia. Join Cane Creek Land Stewards at Cane Creek
Canyon Nature Preserve for trail care work including building natural steps and water
control features, updating trail markers, and assisting with trail cutbacks and clearing
debris, with opportunities available on April 4, 11, and 18 from 9 AM to 12 PM and April 12
and 26 from 1 to 3 PM. Volunteers should be prepared to hike up to 3 miles with elevation
changes greater than 250 feet, though no experience is required, and are encouraged to
wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring water, snacks, and work gloves, while extra water,
gloves, and tools will be provided. Each participant must complete a separate registration
and sign a waiver, with guardians able to register on behalf of minors, and additional

April 10, 2026 – 4th Annual KFK Golf Tournament, Cypress Lakes Golf & Tennis, 1311 E.
6th St., Muscle Shoals. The Kruzn for a Kure Foundation (KFK) will host its 4th Annual Golf

charity tournament features four-man team competition and raises critical funds for

April 11, 2026 – Poetry Prom, Village School, 200 Chickamauga St., Sheffield. Join us on
Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 PM for Poetry Prom with Shannon Milliman, a poet, author,
dancer, actor, and public speaker who has recently been named the inaugural Poet
Laureate of Florence, Alabama. Many in the community may remember her from her

Village School in November 2024, and she continues to captivate audiences as an engaging

April 25, 2026 – Muscle Shoals Sound 47th “Swampaversary”, Muscle Shoals Sound,

Swampaversary annual fundraiser concert on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at its historic
