Wesley (WM) Odom, 83, of Parrish, AL passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
WM was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Warrior River Elks Lodge #2794, and of the Central Alabama Rodders Society.
He was a generous man who loved hunting, fishing, family gatherings, 4th of July celebrations, and watching Alabama football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Maude Odom, brothers, JD Odom and David Odom, and sisters, Margaret Shipman, Ardeen Harper, Bertha Faye Smitherman, Martha Hallman, Carol Worley, and Barbara Jean Robertson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jewel Odom, brother Giles Odom, sons Darryl Odom (Susan) and Tim Odom (Shonya), grandchildren Timothy Michael Odom (Chelsea), Craig Odom (Crystal), and Kristin McGuff (Joshua). Great-grandchildren Olivia Odom, Sophie Odom, Tucker Odom, Gabriel Garrett, Jackson McGuff, and Connor McGuff.
Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00. Pallbearers will be Mickle Terry, Joe Brasher, William Nolen, Josh Tucker, Ben Craven, and Jim Davidson.
