Wesley “Wee-eye” John Latham, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Manchester surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 24, 1967 in Winchester and was a 1986 graduate of Huntland High School. Wesley attended Shelbyville Vocation Technical School. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and being at the Sugar Shack in the mountains of Sugar Cove. Wesley was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Alexander and Bernice Latham, and Albert Cray Williams. He is survived by his loving parents, Howard and Elaine Latham of Huntland; sisters, Patricia (Dwayne) Stevens of Sherwood, Nancy May of Madison, Alabama, and Marie (Jeff) Stevenson of Huntland; grandmother, Lela Mae Williams of Monroe, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Felicia Wanuch, Dillon Stevens, Leah McDowell, Jordan and Cayla May, and Eli and Anna Stevenson; and great-nieces and nephews, Evan and Elliot Wanuch, and Remi Stevens. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10 am-12 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Mike Robertson officiating. Interment will be at Maxwell Cemetery.
