Wesley Early, Jr., age 81 of Dora, passed away at his residence on October 15, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Early, Sr. and Minnie Early; wife Anna Early; son, Phillip Early as well as several beloved siblings. Wesley is survived by his son, Jerome Early; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Early; grandsons, Jeremiah Early, Steven Early and Matthew Early; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Early (Marie), Jimmy Early (Shelia); several half-brothers and sisters as well as a host of extended family members and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Wesley loved playing poker. He was a fan of classic country music, fishing and Atlanta Braves baseball. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union and the Army National Guard. He was an independent person with a strong personality but he loved his family and friends deeply and was always ready to help anyone in need. Services to honor his life will be held at 2pm in the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home chapel on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 with visitation an hour before service time. The family will hold a private burial service.
