Wesley E. Lemons, 83, of Ripley passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Lauderdale Community Hospital. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Thursday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday at Garner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Concord Cemetery near Gates.
Mr. Lemons, a retired warehouse worker, was a member of Woodville Baptist Church and was also a United States Army Veteran.
The husband of Jacqueline Tannhauser Lemons, he is survived by a daughter Debora Nichol (Jeffrey) of Addison, IL; 2 sisters Shirley Wilkerson of Halls and Diane Seat (Andy) of Gates; 2 brothers David Franklin Lemons of Humboldt and Billy Ray Lemons (Jinny) of Covington and a granddaughter Haley Christine Sullivan (Bradley) of Chicago, IL.
