Wenford Oneal Chamblee, age 88, of Crossville, Alabama, passed away on September 23, 2025, at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shelby Chamblee; son, Anthony (Deborah) Chamblee; daughter, Gloria Wilbanks (Darrell Johnston); sister, Louise (Ronald) Bryan; grandchildren, Jed (Katie) Chamblee, Savannah Chamblee, and Drake (Jessica) Wilbanks; and great-grandchildren, Maggie Chamblee, Johnny Wilbanks, and Aubrey Chamblee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Dollie Chamblee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Adams Brown Service Chapel, with burial to follow at Freeman Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jed Chamblee, Drake Wilbanks, Darrell Johnston, David Glover, Steve Davis, and Stanley Wilbanks.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
