Funeral service for Wendell Rylant , age 84, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, March 31 , 2015, 2 :00 p .m. at Austinville Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Posey and Bro. Chris Presnell officiating. The family will receive friends March 31, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 at the church. Interment will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Rylant, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham, Al. He was born June 27, 1930, in Lawrence County, AL to Milford Rylant and Lillie (Hill) Rylant.
He is survived by is wife Martha Jean Rylant, two sons Keith Rylant (Karen), Marty Rylant (Angie), one daughter Sandra Meek (Steve) and four grandchildren Katherine Rylant, Caroline Rylant, Daniel Meek and Laura Meek, one sister Barbara White.
