Funeral Service for Wendell Leon Overton, 81, of Cullman, will be 11AM, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 5:30 to 8PM at Cullman Funeral Home. Brother Paul Campbell will officiate the service. The interment will be in the Etha Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Overton passed from this life on November 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born August, 26, 1940 to Bernice Harmless & Rachel Eugene Kimbril Overton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Overton; special companion, Beverly Warnke; parents, Bernice and Rachel Kimbril Overton; brothers, Elbert Overton, Wilford Overton; sister, Imogene Brummett.
Mr. Overton is survived by his sister, Mary (Lester) Loyd; sons, Jerry & Renee Overton, Perry & Kim Overton; grandchildren, Wesley Overton, Samantha & Brandon Dawson, Nick & Mackenzie Overton; five great-grandchildren, Julianna Overton, Hannah, Kaeden, Adalyn & Brynlie Dawson; and a host of family and friends.
