Wendell Joe Keenum
Wendell Joe Keenum, age 59, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday Feb. 27, 2014.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William O. “Wig” and Lillian Nadine Keenum.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Sheila Stanley Keenum, sons Kevin Keenum
(Elizabeth), Corey Keenum (Courtney), his special little granddaughter Eydie Keenum, brother
Michael Keenum (Barbara) and numerous family members and friends.

Joe was a member of Leighton Baptist Church.

He was a loving father, as well as a best friend to both of his sons, supporting them always. He
loved playing music and watching both of his sons perform music. He also enjoyed fishing,
mountain bike riding, and building model cars in his free time. He was an incredible husband,
and he was a wonderful grandfather (Poppa Joe).

Joe was a talented artist who restored and painted antique vehicles winning numerous
awards. He was the owner of Keenum Kustom Paint in Leighton.

He looked forward to gatherings at Coobie and Glenda’s on holidays and birthdays where the
love for each other flows.

The visitation will be at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Saturday March 1, 2014, from 11:00 am –
1:00 pm with the funeral beginning at 1:00 pm.
