Mr. Wendell Gene Smith, 51, of Florence passed away on April 11, 2016. He was an employee of TVA.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Smith and grandparents, Homer and Maybelle Whitt and Millard and Mamie Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lisa Barkley Smith; father, Hassell Smith; daughters, Jessica Joiner (Benji) and Kendra Hanback (Kolby); brother, Tracy Smith and one grandchild, Sawyer Kate Joiner.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
