Webster Banks, age 86 of Union Chapel, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Shadescrest Nursing Home. Webster was a faithful lifelong member of Mt. Harmony Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Tommy Alford will officiate.
Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his Wife-Sue O’Rear Banks; Parents-William Banks and Della Mae Calloway Banks; In-laws-James N. O’Rear and Esther Roach O’Rear; Siblings-Flora Mae Campbell, Waymon Banks, Cora Winters, Ruby Gibson, Coleman Banks, Gwin Banks, Willie Dell Morris.
He is survived by his Children-LaAnita Best (Doug) and Derryll Banks (Gale); Grandchildren-Laura Lee Long (Anthony), Abbie Day (Jayson), Kathryn Millirons (Taylor) and Brad Eady; Great Grandchildren-Anna Clair Johnson, Jack Johnson, Henry Day and Caroline Day; Host of nieces and nephews.
