Wayne Williams, 53, of Burnsville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Wayne enjoyed making people laugh, listening to country music, listening to Elton John, and watching westerns. Wayne was a hard worker, a devout family man, and enjoyed spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sheila Williams; his daughter, Katelyn Williams; his son, Dakota Williams; his sister, Greta Dees (Shane); his mother in law, Patricia Laird; his aunt, Judy Marlar (Ricky); and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert and Nancy Selman Williams; his grandparents, Pete and Aileen Selman and Elery and Maggie Mae Williams; and his father in law, Tommy Laird. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Larry Marshall. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Pruitt, Craig Selman, Blake Rogers, Bo Bohannah, Chris Gray, Anthony Laird, and Johnathan Rutledge.
