Wayne Wilbanks

Wayne Wilbanks was born February 16, 1949 in Selmer, TN the son of Eloise Hopkins McDaniel and the late Jessie Lee Wilbanks.

He was united in marriage to Joan King on July 3, 1980.

Mr. Wilbanks loved going to the flea market and trading. He enjoyed fishing, singing and listening to gospel music, as well as playing the guitar and harmonica.

Mr. Wilbanks departed this life on April 13, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 1 Month, 28 Days. He is survived by his wife Joan Wilbanks of Pocahontas, TN; mother, Eloise McDaniel of Bethel Springs, TN; stepchildren, Teresa Julian and husband Jay of Lexington, TN, Richard Johnson of Pocahontas, TN, Martha Johnson of Selmer, TN, Randy Johnson and wife Rachel of Savannah, TN, Stevie McBride of Selmer, TN; seven step grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Taylor of Ramer, TN, Shirley Frye and husband Terry of Henderson, TN, Sandra Hall and husband Tommy of Medon, TN, Regina Burkeens of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Alton Causey and wife Eva of Livingston, LA; 13 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews

I hate that we can’t say our goodbyes to my Uncle because of some drama all the time. Stormy had to start trashing my family and I never see or bother her. I’m sorry but my heart is weak and I can’t take all the stress. I love you Wayne and you will be missed. Brian
