Memorial service for Wayne Lee Malone, age 82, of Decatur, will be Sunday, July 11, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Decatur. The family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements.
Mr. Malone, who died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 7, 1938, in Michigan, to Victor Dale Malone and Cora Galligan Malone. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Cuttita, and his parents. He was an assistant plant manager at Delphi.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Kraatz Malone of Decatur; five children, Wayne Malone, Jr. (Debra), Tammy Davis, Tony Malone (Cara), Lee Malone (Lynn), and Correen Ressequie (Jim), all of Michigan; two stepsons, Herb Lincoln and Mark Lincoln (Cynthia), both of Decatur; two brothers, Vic Malone and Bill Malone, both of Michigan; and one sister, Juanita Marino of California.
