Mr. Wayne Fogg of Toney, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2024.   He was 87 and a 1955 graduate of Hazel Green High School   He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and was a faithful part of Friendship Church of Christ until his health no longer allowed him to attend.

Wayne was full of life and enjoyed every day the Lord gave him.   He would anxiously wait for the sun to come up so that he could start his day.  People loved him because of his kindness and friendly personality – always greeting others in his big, booming voice.   He was an Alabama football fan and especially loved time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Fogg; His parents, William & Mary Fogg;  He was also preceded in death by his six siblings.

Surviving family members include his daughters:  Jeanne Rodes and Lorri Bell;  His grandchildren:  Marc Rodes, Holly Rodes, Christen Rodes-Warren, Shannon Lawrence, Johnny Wayne Bell, Delila Marie Newberry;  His great-grandchildren: John Lawrence, Kai Lawrence, Abby Lawrence, Lorelai Warren, Peyton Shockney, Carson Shockney, Waylon Bell, and Corbin Bell.

The family will begin receiving friends on Thursday at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm in the chapel with Bro. Jack Kachelman officiating.  Burial will then follow the service and will be in Stateline Cemetery.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
