Wayne C. Hughes, Sr. Wayne C. Hughes, Sr. 78, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Friday.
He was preceded in death by father, Walter O. Hughes, Sr., mother, Hester E. Hughes, brother, Walter O. Hughes, Jr., brother, Bobby Hughes, brother, James D. Hughes, brother, Thomas Hughes.
Surviving are wife, Wyvonie Cook Hughes, daughter, Teresa (Glen) Hughes Summerlin, son, Wayne C. Hughes, Jr., special God sent granddaughter, Shayna Michelle (Shawn) Anderson, several nieces & nephews, and Pawpaw to many others.
Visitation will be Monday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Doug Browner officiating. Pallbearers will be Shawn Anderson, Dawell Hollaway, Ben Brannum, Michael Campbell, Ivy Day, Travis Pruitt.
Interment will be in the Moon Cemetery.
