Wayne Bryant – Obituary

Wayne Bryant, age 69, of Bolivar, passed away Saturday evening, March 24, 2018 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bolivar.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, he was born November 7, 1948, son of the late Homer Bryant and Lillie Thompson, living most of his life in Hardeman County. He worked as a mechanic for Greyhound Bus Lines and for Meadors Truck Line. He served in the US Army, becoming disabled, and was a Baptist in faith. Mr. Bryant enjoyed woodworking and repairing lawn mowers, loving to work on everything, but held a special love for his family.

Survivors include a son, Russell Bryant of Bolivar; a daughter and son in law, Laurie Roberts (Vernon) of Bolivar; a brother and his wife, David & Joyce Bryant of Spring, TX; a sister and her husband, Kay Shirley Yancy (Jimmy Gaucher) of New Orleans, LA; three nephews, David Bryant, Jr. of Spring, TX, Dutch Shirley of New Orleans, LA and Destin Clark of Magazine, AR; a niece, Velana Rinck of Eugene, OR; and three grandchildren, Jacob, John and Kaylee Marie Bryant.
