Wayne Allen SuchmanWayne Allen Suchman passed away on December 29th, 2023, at the age of 79.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 20th, 1944 to Wayne and Betty Suchman. Wayne graduated from Wentzville High School,
Wentzville, MO, Class of 1963. Wayne was a Vietnam veteran, serving on active and reserve duty for nine years. He joined the U.S. Air Force where he became a Jet Aircraft Mechanic and a Jet Engine Mechanic. He was Honorably Discharged in 1967 and then joined the U.S. Army Reserves attaining the rank of Specialist 6 as an Aircraft Repairman. He was honorably discharged from the USAR in 1976. Wayne continued his service to our country as a government employee, specializing in logistics and retiring in 2000. Even in retirement, he continued to support Army tactical systems as a support contractor.

Wayne was a life-long car enthusiast; car shows, cruises, and other club activities were always family affairs. He has been a member of the National
Street Rod Association since 1974. He not only enticed many others to join his passion, he mentored newcomers and was always happy to help fellow
street riders with projects and repairs.

Wayne was a loving husband and father whose humor, smile, and laugh will be remembered by all.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Marlene Hoormann Suchman of Huntsville, Alabama; his daughters, Amy Suchman Biedenstein (Kevin), Lori Suchman Jones (Steven), and Abby Suchman Pollard (Tommy); his son, Patrick Suchman (Haley); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Jones, Steven Jones Jr. (Jordan), Conner Biedenstein, Ethan Biedenstein, and Millie Pollard; two great-grandchildren, and his sister, Mary Limmer (Robert).

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne L. Suchman and Betty Suchman (née Heins), as well as his former wife and mother of his two oldest children, Cheryl Suchman (née Counts).

Wayne’s love was immeasurable and touched so many – he leaves behind a legacy of love.
