Wayne Allen Putz age 70 of Athens, passed away September 15, 2014 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Wayne was born February 12, 1944 to John and Ivy Brown Putz.
Wayne grew up in Wrigleyville, graduated from Lane Tech High School, served in the Air Force and worked for John Sexton for over 34 years.
Preceded in death by both parents; soul mate/life partner, Vera Howell.
Survived by three daughters, , Ronnie O’Donnell and husband, Steve, Janice Heard and husband, Mark and Lori Bottoms and husband, Mark; one son, Mark Edmunds and wife, Kris; one brother, Raymond Putz and wife, Patricia; six grandchildren, Tiffany Lawrence, Nathan Edmunds, Jason Edmunds, Camden Edmunds, McKenna O’Donnell and Wade bottoms.
Per Wayne’s wishes, there will be no service.
Gifts can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
