Waymon “Slim” Shelton, 78, died April 2, 2013. Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Scottsboro with burial in Section Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 9 at Scottsboro Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose F. Blevins Shelton.
