Local entrepreneur, good citizen and great family man, Waymon B. Gibson departed this life for his life in eternity on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri while attending his grandson’s graduation and vacationing in Branson. He was 89 years old. Mr. Gibson was the founder of Gibson Containers in Arkansas and Tupelo, MS. He was still running his company at his death.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo.
