Waylon Jackson, age 83, of Russellville, passed away Aug. 2, 2014, at the Russellville Hospital. He was a retired maintenance worker at U.S. Reduction. He is survived by his wife, Lavada Jackson; son, Bill Jackson; two grandchildren, Kimberly Peppers and Tandy Jackson; sister, Betty Shackelford; and brother, W.C. Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Ruby Jackson and Daughter Wanda Black.
Visitation will be Monday Aug. 4, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. at Hackleburg Church of Christ. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. there at the church. Burial will follow in Cedar Tree Cemetery.
