Waylan R. McBroom, 71 of Arab, formerly of Gadsden, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at his residence. Waylan was born June 30, 1951, in California the son of Roy McBroom and Lucille Thompson McBroom. He was a cabinet maker by trade, working with his brother, Rick.
He is survived by his sister: Cindy Cole; sister-in-law: Janet McBroom; nieces: JoAnne McBroom, Tracy Purdy (Doug), Crystal Conerly and Brittney Harp (Justin Marsh); host of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy McBroom and Lucille McBroom, sister: Diana Cook and brothers: Rick McBroom and Melvin McBroom.
Graveside Service will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Springville with James Harp officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
