Wava Jean Paseur Whitten 91, of Tuscumbia passed peacefully on July 11th, 2025. Mothers spirt and determination remained until her last breath. She is survived by her four children: Jan Curtis, Kerbie Shields, Mark Wicker, wife Rachel Wicker and Thomas Whitten. A slew of grandchildren, great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Gratitude and thanks to Jennifer Dodd who for a decade dedicated her unwavering help and friendship to Mother. Mother loved her as her own. The family also extends sincere gratitude to the staff of Preferred Hospice. Mother is resting now. The family will have a private memoriam at a later date.
