Watson Carlisie Berry “Warden Berry” , age 73 of Tupelo, MS formerly of Hamilton, AL passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, October 3, 1939 in Decatur, AL to Ezekiel Yancy and Ann Clare Carlisle Berry. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 11, 2013, 6-8:00 pm at the Fulton Bridge Baptist church. The service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Fulton Bridge Baptist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery with Fraternal order of Police honors. Bro. Danny Duncan and Bro. Mike Stancil will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezekiel and Ann Clare Berry and sister, Clara Elizabeth Farrer. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Gloria Berry; children, Lindsay Evans & husband, Jeremy, Patches Shaffer & husband, Chris, Susan Lee, Laurie Kaye Long & husband, Mark, William Clay Phillips & wife, Christy, Angela Beth Lovvorn & husband, Ryan; grandson, Jaxson, Bristol, Trea, Hunter, Bella, D.J., Chandra, Andrea, Morgan, Jacob, Tyler, Shelbie, Dawson & Macaleb; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Ben-Ann Shelton & a host of nieces, nephews & friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
