Watermelon Festival – Great weather, super turnout – Lots of photos, Part I

RUSSELLVILLE – The weekend’s Watermelon Festival had a huge turnout. Lots of kids, lots of out-of-towners, lots of fun. and The Quad-Cities Daily was there recording the day (Saturday) in photographs.

Mayor Ronnie Marks with Spirit of Athens Executive Director Trisha Black, who won the Leadership Award from Main Street Alabama. Included in the photograph are the other seven awards SOA won.
