Warren Bolden JrWarren Bolden Jr, age 77 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Franklin County on August 17, 1943 to the late Andrew Warren and Mary Louise (Wiggs) Bolden. Warren served his country in the United States Army. Before his retirement, he had been employed by Tennessee Valley Nursery, Shadow Nursery, and Speedway Market, working at the nursery during the day and the market in the evenings. Warren enjoyed watching the news, Joel Osteen, and NCIS on television and listening to WCDT on the radio. But most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren. Warren never met a stranger and gave all of his friends and family nicknames, and he especially loved playing jokes to get a good laugh. He attended Estill Springs Church of God was a member of Decherd Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Garner and Judy Bolden; brother, Carter Bolden; and step-son, Stevie Helton. Warren is survived by his loving children, Andy (Amy) Bolden of Shelbyville, Sherry Everett of Nashville, and Tammy (Mike) Jordan of Arizona; step-son, Robbie (Chasity) Helton of Winchester; grandchildren, Corbin, Gage, Tyler, Bethany, Christy, Jennifer, Logan, Katie, Keith, and Bentley; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, and Anna; sister, Candy (Steve) Kwilos of Winchester; brother, Jimmer (Linda) Bolden of Birmingham, and Ricky Bolden of Belvidere; several nieces and nephews; and special niece, Janice Mallard of Winchester. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 23, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
