TENNESSEE VALLEY-With Temperatures dropping to extremely low again this week warming centers are opening once again throughout the Tennesse Valley. We have those warming centers listed for you here. As more open up check back here for a location near you. If you know of a warming center that is in operation and we do not have it listed here email us at quadcitiesdaily@gmail.com.

Attalla-Carnes Recreation Center, 102 Case Ave.
Florence-First Presbyterian of Florence – opening their warming center again Monday Jan. 27th- Thursday Jan. 30, 2014 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 am each night. Located at 224 East Mobile Street, the church is opening it’s doors to anyone who needs shelter during this time.
They are also looking for volunteers to help out. Volunteers will work in 3 hour shifts, 2 people to each shift and one must be male.

Fort Payne-Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 1726 CR 835
Athens-1st United Methodist Church of Athens – opening the Beasley Center, located on the corner of Bryan Street and Marion Street, as a warming station for those without adequate heating and food. The hours of operation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Tuesday (1/28) and Wednesday (1/29) nights. A hot dinner and breakfast items will be served. Huntsville- Operation Stand Down also has a warming center in Huntsville at 4000 Marie Street. Both centers are open through Thursday night.
Huntsville- Downtown Rescue Mission
Madison Count-Inside Out Ministry, 103 Gin Oaks Court, from 8 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
