Funeral Service for Wanda Sims Cole, age 74, of Cullman, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Pleasant Grove Church with Eugene Loyd officiating; interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Pleasant Grove Church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cole passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her residence. She was born August 14, 1945, to Charles E. and Lula Sims.
She was a southern gentlewoman who blessed a lot of hearts and made everyone feel special. She was known as the belle of the ball – to the “nines”. She was glitz, glamour, and guts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, D. G. Cole; and brother, Charles Ray Sims.
Survivors include her daughters, Angie Cole Davis and Stacey Cole; son, Shannon Cole; grandchildren, Zac Roden, Brittany (Micah) Simpson, Alexis Davis, Levi (Kristy) Cole, Cheyenne (Chris) Sharp, and Tanner Cole; and nine great-grandchildren.
