Wanda Leona Lewis, age 89 of Huntsville passed away to her heavenly home surrounded by her husband of 61 years and her four children on Friday, April 21, 2017.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband John Lewis; son Tommie White (Emily); daughters Debbie Samaniego (Mick), Y’Vonna (Von) LaFavor (Danny), Johanna Lewis (Thomas Rutledge); eight grandchildren Chris Barch, Heather Rogers, Amanda Stilwell, Michael Samaniego, Anna Samaniego, Ashleigh Horst, Graham Rutledge, Nicholas Rutledge; four great-grandchildren Reilly Stilwell, Levi McRae, Eli Horst, Blakeney Horst; and one brother Roger Simmons.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by one grandchild Matthew Samaniego. Visitation is Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service Monday, April 24, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Sherwood Baptist Church. Burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
