Wanda Gail Miller, age 72 of Huntland, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at her residence. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Sewanee on February 12, 1949 to the late Charles David and Minerva Dean (Hannah) Bohanan. Before her retirement, she had been employed by Skip’s Grill, the Chuck Wagon Restaurant, Wagon Wheel, Hawk’s and Kay’s Ice Cream as a cook. Cooking was her passion, and she enjoyed cooking and baking for her friends and family. Referred to as “Mamma Hen” by her family, Wanda will be remembered as a caring and loving mom, sister, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charcie Nolan, Debbie McDonald, and William Andy Bohanan. Wanda is survived by her loving children, Tammy Kilgore of Dunlap, Betty (Wendall) Duncan of Huntland, Roger Miller of Soddy Daisy, and Roy Miller of Tennessee; special nieces, Duranda Bohanan of Chattanooga, and Randie Everett of Dunlap; special nephews, Charles Bohanan of Decherd; grandchildren, Jackie, Christy, James, Cody, Jerrica, Zach, Ashley (Nathan), and Justin; many great-grandchildren; brothers, David Bohanan of Winchester, Gerald (Debra) Bohanan of Decherd, Eric (Anita) Bohanan of Decherd, and Ralph “Reb” (Tracy) Bohanan of Winchester; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Pastor David Pinion officiating.
