Wanda Faye (Stewart) Schiavone – Obituary

Ms. Wanda Faye (Stewart) Schiavone of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital. Wanda was born March 15, 1942 in Jackson County Alabama to Carl Stewart and Katherine Davis Stewart and was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glenn Stewart and Jerry Stewart, sister Retha Kay Stewart and brother-in-law, Charles Baugher.

She is survived by her 4 children, Cindy White and husband Doyle, Chris Jones and partner, Jason Hutcheson, Sheliah Kelner and husband Bill, and Nick Schiavone, III; 5 grandchildren, Doyle White, III and wife Jacqueline, Jessica Stephens and husband Brian, Will Kelner, Ryan Kelner and Riley Kelner; 2 great grandchildren, Kate Stephens and Nolan Stephens; 3 sisters Patty Baugher, Sheila Gurley and husband Ray, Sandra Robinson and husband Chris; sister-in-law Doris Stewart and several nieces and nephews.

She was a fixture at El Palacio of Mexican Food for nearly 30 years and worked for Huntsville City School Food Services before retiring in 2015. She loved to garden, enjoyed spending time watching old westerns and visiting with friends – She will always be remembered for her quick wit and anyone who ever met Wanda is guaranteed to have a great story to tell!
