Wanda Davis Reece, 90, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was born May 25, 1936 to the late Carl and Irene Whitley Davis. She retired after two long careers with Valley Knit and Sola Electric. She was an active member of Clark Avenue Holiness Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts, birdwatching, and gospel music.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her daughter Jan Reece, sisters Edna Inman, Jo Davis McBride, and Annette Kennedy, son-in-law Jimmy Baker, grandchildren Jillian Eshelman (Scott) and Matt Baker (Radley Faulkner), and great-grandchildren Ella Grace and Katie Beth Eshelman.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edsel V. Reece, daughters Samantha Reece and Kathy Baker, and brothers Leslie, Jay, and Ed Davis.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
