Wanda A. Montgomery, 87, a native of Etowah, Tenn. and a resident of Lauderdale County, passed away April 2, 2014, at her residence. She was of the Methodist faith.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with the Rev. Greg Burnett officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Sue Burch; son, Danny Ray Brumley; sister, Carolyn Howell; father of her children, Glenn R. Brumley; and two infant brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Lewis Montgomery; daughters, Donna Wagnon (Johnny), of Florence, Glenda Abbott, of Atlanta, Ga., and Dale Holbrook (Lavern), of Etowah, Tenn.; sister, Betty Willis (W.C.), of Athens, Tenn.; grandchildren, Logan Price, of Atlanta, Ga., Maegan Brumley, Angie Dawson, Joe Holbrook, Drew Holbrook, Becky McKee, and Josh Brumley; great-grandchildren, Maecie, Maggie, Gunner, Alex, Coty, Lyla, Blaine, and Tristan; and several nieces and nephews.
