Funeral Service for Walter Marvin Turney, age 89, of Vinemont, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jared Folks officiating; interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Turney passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born March 3, 1932, in Cullman, Alabama, to Oscar and Flora Turney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Turney; son, Keith Turney; and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie (Frank) Gingrich; grandchildren, Jason (Fawn) Gingrich, Ryan Gingrich, Heath Turney, and Matthew (Gidget) Turney; and six great-grandchildren.
